Caroline Hamblin is now available by appointment at Harley Street, central London 

Caroline Hamblin has been in private practice as a psychotherapist and hypnotherapist since 2005 initially training in Freudian Psychoanalysis.  Today’s practice reflects 21st century living and promotes evidence based, ethical practice, helping the client achieve measured, quantifiable goals within a relatively short space of time.

Current clinic hours include working from a busy GP practice, typically treating Anxiety Disorders, Eating Disorders, Emetophobia (a fear of sick) Addictions, Self -Harming,  Stress and Depression as well as treating children and teenagers with wide ranging symptoms.

Central to her work is an attention to Psychoneuroimmunology ( the interaction between cognitive processes, the nervous system and the immune system)  and results in regularly treating clients with long term debilitating illnesses such as Fybromyalgia or ME/CFS  as well as those recovering from injury or illness.

Caroline’s work includes the field of positive psychology, where the focus is on personal growth rather than on pathology,  better able to reach a wider audience and anyone wishing to improve their quality of life, regardless of age or situation. In a non therapeutic setting, she has worked with small businesses aiming to improve both harmony and productivity, as well as with the staff and children within schools.

All therapy or training can be delivered in such a way that you could  be expecting real change within 6 sessions.

For those wishing to take a therapeutic direction, Caroline’s background in psychodynamic therapy, helps the client more quickly understand and resolve their problems, by increasing awareness of their inner world and its influence over relationships both past and present.
